We are a Dallas/Fort Worth-based photo and video team. Our story includes a husband and wife that went to high school and college together and then got married in 1994. They started PHOTOconcepts more than 25 years ago.
Along came three kids and more than 1,000 weddings, countless families and graduates ... and we still get excited for every job! We are blessed to have girls that enjoy working along side their dad. They are amazing photographers and videographers - each having their own special touch. But it's their combined vision and eye for every detail that makes this family team special.
Our passion is to provide images and film that captures your moment in time. We hope to capture the happy tears, the laughter and the story behind each of our clients. We know life is incredibly precious and we want to give you the images that will take you back to that moment and remember your story - for generations.

This is Gus -- he is "THE" soul of PHOTOconcepts and of our family. He's been photographing and filming for more than 30 years. He has a degree in civil engineering but he loves looking through the lens and capturing life. He definitely has just the right mix of right-brain/left brain. He's funny, sometimes quiet but one of the hardest working people you will ever meet. This company is his passion and he always gives it his all.
As lead photographer and videographer, Gus is always in contact with his couples both before and during the wedding. He's a great communicator and strives to take all the stress out of wedding, event and portrait photography/videography.

These are the precious daughter's of PHOTOconcepts.
From left to right: Carina is our youngest and she works when she is home on school breaks. Most of the year however, she is at Ouachita Baptist University in Arkansas where she plays D2 college soccer. She is a junior this year.
Carissa is our middle daughter. She specializes in detail photography and video. She loves capturing all the special details at each event, including rings, flowers, and table settings. She also loves capturing guests during the wedding and all the emotions that are experienced. She has an MS in chemistry and works during the day in a lab with battery experiments.
Cameron is our oldest. She is often found shadowing the bride all day. She specializes in portraits, perfecting creative poses and organizing and works hand-in-hand with each couple. She is also an excellent videographer. Cameron has an MS in Microbiology and works for a large international company. She got married in 2022.
