The simple answer is yes. In fact, I cannot think of a reason why you wouldn’t want that additional perspective. Imagine the bride coming down the aisle. You want a shot of the groom’s first look. You have the mother of the bride waiting at the front, watching her daughter walking on the arm of her dad. You have your guest’s reactions. You have bridesmaids and groomsmen’s reaction. With only one photographer, you cannot possibly capture that many moments.
Many of the shots at a wedding cannot be redone. There is only one first look. There is only one first dance. There’s only one toast to the couple. If any equipment fails, it could be truly disappointing. With the second photographer, there is someone always in the wings to jump in and take photos. At PHOTOconcepts, we almost always have our second photographer in a different location to capture a moment from a different perspective. With our style of working, there is less of a chance that we’ll miss a great shot! Instead, you get photos you never dreamed of having.
Our second photographer is also used to capture moments that happen simultaneously, such as the bride and groom getting ready in two separate locations. We are there to not only capture the laughter and the nervous tears but also those very touching moments, like when dad sees his beautiful baby girl in her wedding gown. At the same time, the groom is embracing his parents for all their support. It’s all incredible and it’s your story.
Every wedding day package that PHOTOconcepts offer — includes at least one additional photographer. It’s important to you … and it’s important to us.
