How did you go about selecting your wedding photographer? (First thing on the list or last thing?, etc. )
I am one of those people that like to get everything done and settled. I only went to two bridal expos, and I checked everything off my list as quickly as possible. I would say (photography) was a “middle of the list” item, venue was first, but photographer was not last!
What were the top three most important things you considered when picking a wedding photography?
Price, style, and personality! It had to fit my budget, I had to like the photos, and I had to feel comfortable with the photographer.
How did you hear about PHOTOconcepts? What made you choose them over others?
I was at a bridal expo and was collecting information about the different photographers available. I loved PHOTOconcepts style, but I didn’t book them right away. Once I knew what I wanted, I emailed PHOTOconcepts to set up a package that worked for me, and y’all were great at getting me just what I needed!
How did you decide where to have your engagement photos taken and the style they were taken? Did you have fun?
I wanted to get our engagement photos taken somewhere modern and not too outdoorsy (I am not an outdoorsy person, and I thought it might feel a little fake to have it in a garden somewhere lol). My fiancé and I met online, and we don’t really have a “special place” so I actually asked Gus for some ideas. He suggested the Canals at Los Colinas and it was amazing! One of the most beautiful places I have been, and it was basically empty the whole time we needed it. Very easy to get into the photos and just have a good time. 🙂
Tell us a little about you. When did you meet your fiancé? How long have you been together? How did you know he was the one?
My fiancé and I met online, but we met in-person pretty soon after. (Match.com, I seriously recommend it!) We had been together for a year when he proposed on Christmas Eve, and I could hardly wait to be his wife so we planned a May wedding. Lots of little pieces fell into place to show me he was “the one”, but I’ll always remember my mother telling me that I had found the right guy because she said “he sees you the way we see you”. Wes is my best friend, my better half, and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with him.
